Holiday Mountain offers skiing and snow tubing in the Thompson area. Check its current operating report, session availability, rental information, and any age or height requirements before committing your group. Winter activities depend on conditions; having an indoor alternative makes the day easier.
Keep the afternoon flexible
A winter trip does not need to be a ski trip. Read by the window, set up a pool or ping-pong match, or make the movie area your afternoon destination. Bring your favorite snacks and let everyone have a different idea of a perfect day.
A slower evening
The house has a private year-round hot tub. Pack a warm layer for getting back inside, and follow the house instructions during your stay. Treat the lake as scenery in winter: do not assume ice is safe or that seasonal waterfront amenities are available.
